I am a molecular and cellular biologist, currently a Postdoctoral Researcher. My current research focuses on characterizing the epigenetic alterations induced by the long non-coding RNA NDM29 in Neuroblastoma SKNBE2 cells, aiming to identify novel gene therapy targets for this aggressive pediatric cancer. I employ a range of molecular and cellular techniques, including Western blotting, qPCR, ELISA, and fluorescence microscopy, to profile chromatin remodeling and transcriptional changes associated with tumor attenuation. Prior to this, I investigated the therapeutic potential of natural polyphenols and plant extracts in in vitro models of metabolic disorders, including NAFLD (FaO, HepG2), endothelial dysfunction (HECV), obesity/hypertrophy (differentiated 3T3-L1 adipocytes), and insulin resistance (HepG2), utilizing colorimetric spectrophotometric assays alongside molecular approaches.
